Celebrating 100 Years of Service!

A sellout crowd of more than 1,200 Milwaukee-area business and community leaders came together on Saturday, June 8th to celebrate the Milwaukee Urban League’s 100th anniversary at the Black and White Ball.

Marc Morial, President and CEO of National Urban League, was the guest speaker at the event, which was held at the Wisconsin Center in downtown Milwaukee. It also featured music from The Bar-Kays, Brick and Con Funk Shun.

The annual Black and White Ball began 34 years ago as a venue for the Milwaukee Urban League to bring a cross-section of business and community leaders and representatives across race, gender, and religion together for an elegant evening of fun, entertainment, dancing, and fellowship.
